Joan Crawford and Clark Gable, 1933, in a production shot for Dancing Lady

Joan’s eyes look as if they’re ready to burn a hole in Gable, while he’s giving her a “yeah, so what da’want?” look. I can’t say for sure, since I have never seen this film; although maybe I should based on the cast list. It looks to be an MGM attempt at a Busby Berkeley type of backstage musical, with Gable in the Warner Baxter role and Joan as, well not Ruby Keeler, that’s for sure. Maybe Joan Blondell. I guess that I should add this to my 300 plus Netflix list–although I might want to move it up a bit in the queue.
